      this is such a great alternative from the european cabernet sauvignon. it's got great body but still not too overpowering. I hadn't had many non-french cabernet sauvignon and now im very glad Friarwood suggested this to me

      This Chilean Merlot is my go-to for an easy, satisfying glass of red. With its rich notes of ripe plum, blackberries, and a touch of chocolate, it strikes the perfect balance between fruitiness and softness. The gentle tannins and smooth finish make it incredibly drinkable, whether paired with a meal or enjoyed on its own.

      I haven't tried many Carmenere wines before but I was very pleasantly surprised by this one. Very resembling of a Cabernet Sauvignon but with a bit more spice.
