Job Title: Logistics Coordinator

Candidate profile:
As Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for the running of the Logistics department in Friarwood, along with supporting the Purchasing department. You will be responsible for all inbound and outbound stock, together with managing our team of two drivers. The role requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work under minimal supervision. We are looking for a reliable, proactive and hard-working individual who is highly organised and will thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic working environment.

The Role:

  • Manage routes and outbound deliveries to trade and retail customers
  • Assist the Buying team on stock levels and stock control for the entire portfolio
  • Proactively monitor and produce forecasts of stockholding to identify potential availability challenges and recommend relevant actions to resolve
  • Raising of Purchase Orders for all products, monitoring lead times & following up on deliveries
  • Manage orders entry and inbound & outbound shipments
  • Manage stock replenishment and availability from various warehouses and cellars
  • Manage stock availability for promotional events
  • Assist with day-to-day retail requirements – stock counts, managing orders, store transfers
  • Assist Retail Operations: ensure correct stock levels, manage online orders, manage in-shop delivery requests, manage presence of products on website.

Key Skills & Experience:

Essential: 

  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Highly literate and numerate, with advanced Excel skills
  • Outstanding spoken and written communication skills
  • Excellent organisation and planning skills
  • Able to work on own initiative and collaborate as part of a team
  • Basic wine knowledge

Desirable:

  • Experience with an ERP system such as Microsoft Dynamics
  • Knowledge of stock management and logistics
  • Speaking Italian/French/Spanish desirable
  • UK Driving license

Notes:
Please note this is role is physically based in our offices in Parsons Green, London.
This is a Full-Time role primarily working on a Monday – Friday 8am – 4.30pm - however flexibility will be required.
