Ron Carúpano rums are distilled from carefully selected high-proof spirits and pure spring water from the estate, aged in American white oak barrels to develop remarkable depth and complexity.       I finally treated myself to Billecart Salmon's Blanc de Blancs and I'm utterly impressed. Paired it with butter-seared scallops as recommended and the combination was perfection. Now I understand why this champagne stands shoulder-to-shoulder with Krug and Dom Pérignon.
