ABOUT THE WINE

Tenuta Fanti, a family estate rooted in the Montalcino region since the early 18th century, is renowned for producing exceptional Brunello di Montalcino, extra-virgin olive oil, and cereals. Under the stewardship of Filippo Fanti, a seasoned grower with over 40 years of experience, and his daughter Elisa, who joined the estate in 2007, the winery continues to gain international recognition. Their commitment to sustainable agriculture, respect for natural cycles, and deep understanding of the land ensures wines of both quality and integrity.

The Vallocchio bottling is a single-site Brunello di Montalcino, made from four vineyard plots at the heart of the estate, where vines average 35 years of age. This is a refined, structured Brunello that represents the soul of Fanti’s terroir.

TASTING NOTES

This 2017 Brunello di Montalcino Vallocchio opens with a deep ruby hue and a captivating nose of blackcurrant, ripe cherry, warm spice, and a hint of liquorice.
