ABOUT THE WINE
A family-owned winery, founded in 1924 by Giovanni Scolaris. The company found early success selling wine to British and American soldiers who occupied Italy towards the end of World War II; today, Marco, the founder's grandson, is the winemaker for the estate. The wines are produced entirely from estate vineyards.
TASTING NOTES
Pear and golden apple on the nose, with a hint of brioche from 3 months on the lees in the fermentation tank. Refreshing citrus flavours, grapefruit and white stone-fruit on the palate.
