Nestled in the rolling hills of Maremma, Tuscany, the Conti di San Bonifacio estate was established in 2002 by Manfredo di San Bonifacio and his wife Sarah, who transformed the property into a luxury wine resort and working vineyard. With 7 hectares under vine and a commitment to excellence, the estate produces small-batch, handcrafted wines guided by renowned Tuscan winemaker Luca d’Attoma. The 2014 ‘Docet’ Super Tuscan is a refined, structured blend that reflects the estate's ethos of merging local terroir with international varietal finesse.
TASTING NOTES
A beautifully expressive blend, Docet 2014 delivers perfumed aromas of red berries, cedar, wild heather, and raspberry coulis. On the palate, it’s opulent and well-balanced, with fine tannins supporting layers of red and black fruit, underpinned by a mineral lift. Aged in 50% new oak, the wine shows a luxurious smoothness without overshadowing the fruit purity. A harmonious Super Tuscan that continues to evolve gracefully with age.
FOOD PAIRING
Best paired with grilled or roasted lamb, game dishes, or Tuscan-style stews. Its structure and aromatics also complement rich pasta with wild boar ragù or herb-crusted beef.
