ABOUT THE WINE
An experienced winemaker and strong in the history of his family, producing wine since the 1880s, Romain Couillaud joined forces with his father in 2009 and took over from Gérard at the head of the estate in 2020. In 2023, Lucie joined the estate to develop the sale of wines at the cellar and help with the day-to-day tasks of the operation. A true family run winery.
TASTING NOTES
Pale yellow with beautiful reflections, on the nose you’ll find white fruit with expressive mineral notes. The palate has supple attach, good balance and is fruity and fresh. An excellent example of a fresh and mineral Loire Sauvignon Blanc.
FOOD PAIRING
Perfect with seafood or as an aperitif, with a beautifully mineral finish.
