ABOUT THE WINE
The Tokar Estate vineyard was planted in the late 1990s, in the heart of the Yarra Valley's 'golden mile', on Maddens Lane, Coldstream. It is a small boutique estate focusing on sustainable farming and quality wines.
TASTING NOTES
Bright yellow. Nice buttery nose with zesty aromas of lemon drop, white flowers, crushed stone and noble herbs.
FOOD PAIRING
A perfect match for pan fried fish and veal.
FRIARWOOD SAYS
Picked when the flavours are in the citrus to stone fruit spectrum and wild fermented in French oak (mostly 500L puncheons).
