Echo de Lynch-Bages 2020, the esteemed second wine of Château Lynch-Bages, exemplifies the château's dedication to quality. Crafted from a blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot, this vintage showcases the unique terroir of Pauillac. The 2020 growing season featured a mild winter and a dry, sunny summer, leading to optimal grape maturation.

TASTING NOTES
In the glass, Echo de Lynch-Bages 2020 displays a vibrant ruby-purple hue. The aromatic profile is marked by pure and lifted notes of fresh redcurrant and raspberry. On the palate, well-rounded tannins contribute to a fresh and elegant finish. ​

FOOD PAIRING
This wine pairs excellently with grilled and roast lamb with garlic and rosemary​ or roast beef, veal, and venison.​​ Also cheeses such as Cheshire and Red Leicester, or French Mimolette.​

this is such a great alternative from the european cabernet sauvignon. it's got great body but still not too overpowering. I hadn't had many non-french cabernet sauvignon and now im very glad Friarwood suggested this to me

I haven't tried many Carmenere wines before but I was very pleasantly surprised by this one. Very resembling of a Cabernet Sauvignon but with a bit more spice.
