Remarkably, Roederer remains family-owned, with the majority of its grapes sourced from its own vineyards, an approach that ensures quality and consistency. Vintage expressions, including the iconic Cristal, are produced exclusively from estate-grown grapes, while only one-third of their total production uses bought-in grapes. Committed to sustainability, Roederer has pioneered experiments with biodynamic viticulture in its vineyards since 2000, reflecting its dedication to innovation and terroir.
