ABOUT THE WINE
Founded in 1838 in the esteemed village of Aÿ, Deutz is one of Champagne’s most distinguished houses, producing wines that showcase elegance and finesse. With a commitment to quality, they farm 111 hectares, much of which they own, ensuring exceptional control over their grape supply. Aged in the house’s historic chalk-walled cellars, their champagnes develop remarkable complexity and depth over time. The 2016 vintage is a testament to their expertise, capturing the character of the year with remarkable balance and sophistication.
TASTING NOTES
Deutz 2016 Brut Champagne presents an exquisite aromatic bouquet of white flowers, fresh citrus, and ripe orchard fruits, with underlying notes of toasted brioche and hazelnuts. On the palate, it delivers a refined mousse, vibrant acidity, and a beautifully structured minerality.
