ABOUT

A complex and mellow cognac. Bright and fresh notes of apple and exotic fruit with notes of vanilla, coffee and spice. Aged for a minimum of 10 years, its maturation in oak barrels has added to the complexity of this relatively young cognac.

TASTING NOTES

This cognac has an aroma of mocha with roasted nut, some spice and just a hint of pineapple. On the palate, there are flavours of spice and coffee with pineapple in the background. Flavours which have become more complex as the cognac has matured.

Vibrant!

this is such a great alternative from the european cabernet sauvignon. it's got great body but still not too overpowering. I hadn't had many non-french cabernet sauvignon and now im very glad Friarwood suggested this to me

Discovered this wine recently

I haven't tried many Carmenere wines before but I was very pleasantly surprised by this one. Very resembling of a Cabernet Sauvignon but with a bit more spice.
