ABOUT THE WINE
Classified as a 1er cru classe. Chateau Lafite Rothschild is arguably the most renowned wine in the Medoc. The owner of the estate is the Baron Eric de Rothschild. The Chateau is one of the largest Medoc estates. The production of the top wine is extremely limited, with only a maximum of 20,000 cases produced in the best years.

this is such a great alternative from the european cabernet sauvignon. it's got great body but still not too overpowering. I hadn't had many non-french cabernet sauvignon and now im very glad Friarwood suggested this to me

Discovered this wine recently

I haven't tried many Carmenere wines before but I was very pleasantly surprised by this one. Very resembling of a Cabernet Sauvignon but with a bit more spice.
