ABOUT THE WINE
Château Gloria, located in the highly regarded Saint-Julien appellation of Bordeaux, is a wine estate with a reputation for producing elegant and approachable wines. This blend is composed of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc, and 5% Petit Verdot, a combination that gives the wine its hallmark structure, complexity, and depth. Château Gloria is renowned for its consistency and ability to produce wines that age beautifully while remaining accessible in their youth.

TASTING NOTES
The 2016 Château Gloria displays an inviting nose of ripe blackcurrants, plums, and subtle notes of cedar, along with nuances of tobacco and dark chocolate. On the palate, it is full-bodied and richly textured, with flavours of blackberry, cassis, and a touch of black pepper, balanced by firm yet well-integrated tannins. This wine is an excellent match for roast lamb, beef Wellington, or venison. It also pairs well with mature cheeses such as Comté or aged Cheddar, as well as hearty stews and casseroles. Serve at 16-18°C and consider decanting to fully reveal its layers of complexity.
