The Story of ETO:
In 2012, British designer and wine lover Tom Cotton recognized a growing problem—millions of liters of wine wasted annually due to ineffective preservation methods. Frustrated with the high costs and poor performance of existing solutions, Tom filed a patent and began developing a revolutionary decanter. His innovative design displaced air inside the decanter to prevent oxidation and spoilage, but perfecting the valve proved challenging.

Thanks to the support of the Innovate UK government grant, Tom developed over 60 prototypes, rigorously testing and refining the design in the lab. Six years later, ETO was born. Named after the Welsh word for “again,” this beautiful, durable decanter allows wine lovers to enjoy their favorite wines repeatedly without compromise. Now available in the luxurious Gold Mirror finish, it’s as practical as it is elegant—made to be admired and used again and again.
