ABOUT THE WINE
The Devillard family own a number of domaines and châteaux throughout Burgundy, including Domaine des Perdrix, Château de Chamirey and Domaine de la Ferte. Grapes within the Renard range are produced from grapes purchased by carefully selected growers and produced by the same talented team behind the outstanding NSG 1er Cru or Echezeaux.
TASTING NOTES
Round, ripe apple and peach fruit with a slight touch of yogurt and spice, but very much a wine characterised with freshness. Brilliant value for easy drinking white Burgundy.
FOOD PAIRING
Chicken and root vegetables, and delicately flavoured cheeses.
FRIARWOOD SAYS
The warm 2018 vintage produced fruity whites that are fresh and charming in their youth.
